FEIDOLUX KD19 is a high-quality synthetic resin-based topcoat with fast drying properties. The product has a very good distribution, good weathering resistance and ensures optically appealing surfaces.

Topcoat for objects, which have a high demand regarding optical quality and long-lasting weathering resistance with good gloss and colour shade stability. The material is applied e.g. in the motor vehicle sector or in the crane construction.

Surface preparation

Remove from the surfaces any contaminants that might be detrimental to surface preparation and application. Remove also water-soluble salts by using appropriate methods. The place and time of the preparation are to be chosen so that the prepared surface will not get dirty or damp before the subsequent treatment. Additional instructive information for surface preparation can be found in standards EN ISO 12944-4 and ISO 8501-2.

Application

Stir thoroughly before use. Brush can be used for touching up and painting small areas.

Application conditions

The surface to be treated must be dry. During the application and drying period the temperature of the ambient air, the surface and the product shall be above +5°C and below +35°C and the relative air humidity below 85%. The temperature of the surface to be treated must be at least +3°C above the dew point of the ambient air. During application good ventilation is recommended.

Storage

Storage stability is 1 year in unopened package. Store in a cool place. Most suitable storage temperature is +5°C - +25°C. Protect from heat and freeze!

Thinner FEIDOSOLV VK52 or FEIDOSOLV VK53, also for cleaning the working tools. When using FEIDOSOLV VK53 the product cannot be coated with itself any more.
Clean up FEIDOSOLV VK52 or FEIDOSOLV VK53.
Colours Available in colours according to RAL. Other colours by agreement.
