Teknos to move towards sustainable development and circular economy

Teknos is involved in the project called Recompose to identify the possibilities for exploiting the production side streams of one industrial manufacturer as raw material in another manufacturer's product, in line with circular economy principles.

The Nordic region's most modern shipyard on an inland waterway is respecting traditions

The Päijänne Shipyard in Central Finland uses a traditional method to paint steel boats over 100 years old with epoxy-based tar. Newer steel boats are coated in low-solvent INERTA 165 epoxy coating, which can withstand heavy wear.

POLYUREA FOR DURABLE WATERPROOFING OF STADIUM'S WOODEN GRANDSTANDS

The wooden floor of the grandstand at the new stadium was given a durable and waterproof polyurea coating that protects the area under the stands. The building's frame structures from glued laminated timber were also treated with a wood preservative to protect them from signs of ageing and weathering.
