VELLUTO SOFTLACK 5399-05 is a solvent-based 2C effect paint with a velvety soft, almost invisible, ultra-matt surface. Higher coverage per application produces a pronounced soft feel effect. The product is characterised by its very low tendency to shine.
Surface preparation
Every substrate must be well-cleaned, dry and free from grease and oil. Coating removal: Sand, strip
Application
Stir or shake the product well for several minutes before use, if necessary by machine.
Application conditions
Recommended temperature for surroundings and product: +15°C-25°C. Do not apply below +10°C.
VELLUTO SOFTLACK 5399-05 is susceptible to temperature fluctuations and sensitive to cold.
Storage
Storage temperature is +5°C - +30°C. Store in a tightly closed container.
Be sure to make test samples and check for suitability.
Caution: Only apply a thin layer.
Cannot be recoated or touched up.
Gloss level dull matt 02 is only suitable for decorative interior use. In this case, dull matt, open-pored surfaces are created that therefore are more sensitive to mechanical and chemical stress.
Natural matt effect coatings are mainly used in decorative areas. Due to the pronounced matting effect, such products contain high levels of matting agents and are not recommended for the treatment of dark wood species / backgrounds.
