HYDROLAN KALKPASTE 1700-00 is a lime paste for achieving a "whitewashed" effect on coarse-pored woods such as ash, oak and elm etc.

Surface preparation
Every substrate must be well-cleaned, dry and free from grease and oil. Coating removal: Sand
Application
Stir or shake the product well for several minutes before use, if necessary by machine.
Application conditions
Recommended temperature for surroundings and product: +15°C-25°C. Do not apply below +10°C.
Storage
Storage temperature is +5°C - +30°C. Store in a tightly closed container.
Creating a good "whitewashed oak" effect requires particularly careful preparation. The wood (not only oak, but generally porous woods such as ash, elm, walnut, etc.) is very finely sanded and thoroughly brushed, if necessary watered and stained. All VARIVA products can be used for staining.
