Water-borne, alkyd and acrylic based universal primer for wooden surfaces. For wooden windows, outer doors, garden furniture and other wooden objects. Before using the product, the manufacturer should be contacted to check the suitability of the product for the object in question.

AQUAPRIMER 3140-00 has a good hiding power and it penetrates well into the wood forming a good adhesion to the surface to be painted. AQUAPRIMER 3140-00 dries quickly and it has excellent sanding and stacking properties. The product is developed for demanding objects where a low waternabsorption is required. Product is suitable for spray application.

Surface preparation

The surface must be clean and dry. The moisture content of the wood is to be below 20%. It is recommended that the wood is treated with an efficient wood preservative that protects it against rot, blue stain fungi and mildew.

Application

Stir thoroughly before use.

Application conditions

During the application and drying period the temperature of the ambient air, the surface and the product shall be above +15°C and the relative air humidity below 80%. The best result is achieved when the temperature of the air is +23°C - +38°C, the relative humidity of the air 50 - 70% and the ventilation is good.

Storage

Must not freeze. The best storage temperature is +10°C - +25°C. The storage life is minimum 6 months in dry and cool conditions when the temperature during storage and transportation is max. +25°C.
