ABZIEHLACK LM 1938-00 creates an elastic coating film for temporary protection of bright metallic machine parts, tools etc. during transport and storage. The product is used as a protective coating to prevent moisture exposure and mechanical stress as well as for the protection of metal surfaces, e.g. in galvanic processes or in spray booths.

Surface preparation

Every substrate must be well-cleaned, dry and free from grease and oil.

Application

Stir or shake the product well for several minutes before use, if necessary by machine.

Application conditions

Recommended temperature for surroundings and product: +15°C-25°C. Do not apply below +10°C.

Storage

Storage temperature is +5°C - +30°C. Store in a tightly closed container.

Application methods

Notes: For good peelability, 2-3 coats should be applied "wet-on-wet" (> 100 µm dry film thickness). Surfaces coated with peelable coatings may not be exposed to weathering, otherwise the peelability will be lost. The product is unsuitable for protecting coated surfaces. The organic solvents contained in the product may attack coatings, resulting in an adhesive bond.

Clean up Wash the equipment immediately after use. OWEDUR 5046-98 or OWECELL D 1500-98.
