Teknos respects the integrity of every person who visits Teknos’ website. The privacy policy outlines how and why Teknos can collect information and utilise the collected information.

4.2 Personal data
Teknos does not collect identifiable personal data (i.e. user’s name, address, telephone number, or e-mail address) via Teknos’ website, unless the user has personally provided such data to Teknos, and given an explicit consent for processing of such data. If the user does not wish to have his/her personal data registered, the user must refrain from providing this information to Teknos.
Personal data collected by Teknos may include the following types of personal data and their changes and is always separately based on the nature of the relationship and collaboration between Teknos and the data subject in question:
First name, last name, title, job and / or other work-related information, telephone number, email address, postal address, age bracket, gender, company name represented by the registered person.
4.3 Purpose and legal grounds for processing personal data
If the user provides his/her personal data to Teknos, Teknos may store and subsequently process this data to understand the user’s specific needs, and thereby improve Teknos’ products and services. Teknos or a third party, e.g. a fulfilment centre, may use the information to contact the user and/or can offer third parties non-identifiable personal data about visitors to Teknos’ website. The processing of personal data is based on the legitimate interest of Teknos or the explicit consent given by the data subject.
4.4 Other data
Teknos will occasionally automatically collect information that is not personally identifiable, e.g. the user’s browser type and operating system, as well as the domain name from which the user came when the user visited Teknos’ website.

Teknos uses cookies to gather information concerning the use of our websites. Teknos also uses so-called session cookies to save information about choice of language. These are, however, deleted automatically. Teknos does not save any sensitive personal information.

Teknos uses external service providers in processing personal data who process personal data on behalf of Teknos for the purposes mentioned in this privacy policy. Teknos guarantees that outsourcing happens according to the applicable law. The external service providers may only use the personal data for the provision of agreed services to Teknos and under the terms agreed with the Teknos.
In handling your personal data, Teknos uses service providers, servers and resources located in many different countries. To some extent personal data is also transferred to other Teknos Group companies. Personal data will be kept for as long as necessary taking into account Teknos’s business needs and in accordance with the local applicable legislation.

Teknos guarantees the security of data collected through the use of appropriate technical and organizational measures.
Only authorized representatives of Teknos and authorized external service providers acting on behalf of Teknos have the right to process personal data. Teknos has granted limited access to personal data only to persons who need this access. The system is protected in accordance with Teknos's security policy.

You have the right to request a copy of your personal data in the register. The request must be made in writing to the e-mail address mentioned in this privacy policy.
You also have the right to prohibit Teknos from using your personal information if there is no legal basis for processing your personal data. You also have the right to request Teknos to restrict the processing of your data. Additionally, you have the right to request Teknos to correct incorrect information and to request Teknos to erase information about you.
