Building a quality brand

Sampson Products Ltd chooses Teknos as their preferred partner for Vinor, a new range of quality English made wooden bed frames.

Now in their fourth year of trading, Sampson Products Ltd has launched a new brand offering quality, hand crafted wooden beds.

The new Vinor range of wooden bed frames is the result of recent diversification from the company who are based at their Yorkshire timber mill. The solid timber beds contain no board laminate or veneer and are crafted on site, from joinery-quality Scandinavian raw timber right through to the hand sprayed finished. The range includes bases for six mattress sizes ranging from 2’ 6” to 6’ and are currently available in seven stylish contemporary designs that are finished with a range of seven Teknos colours and stains.

“Our core business is timber manufacturing and processing of components for the bed industry so diversification in to furniture and bed manufacturing was the next logical step.” Said Simon Banks, Managing Director of Sampson Products Ltd.

The new wooden bed bases are quality built from solid Scandinavian Redwood, with traditional mortise and tenon joints for a simple and effective home assembly.

Partnering for success

To ensure their beds were finished to a premium standard Sampson Products needed a lacquer that would match the quality of their beds. “As this is a brand new product and market for us, our aim is to provide a high quality finish that compliments the quality of our joinery work. I have used Teknos before at a previous business and had worked closely with their team on mobile home cladding products, so I knew the quality of paints and support they provide was exactly what we were looking for.” says Simon Banks.
