protecting handmade oak doors with teknos

Made from solid euro oak this beautiful door was completely hand made by Nicholson Carpentry & Joinery Ltd.

The door was a bespoke piece supplied and fitted for a client near Melton Mowbray.

The team at Nicholson chose to finish the joinery with Teknos AQUAPRIMER 2900 in ‘Light Oak’ followed by a topcoat of AQUATOP 2600-24 in ‘Cypress’. A system is proven to protect against weathering, UV degradation, mould and fungal attack.

AQUATOP 2600’s also boasts enhanced dirt pick-up resistance, due to a very smooth and even surface appearance.
