Cheshire Joinery Ltd had the opportunity to manufacture Accoya® windows and doors for a client based in Gwynedd, North Wales for their bespoke property. The key feature of this stunning property are the Accoya® windows and sliding patio doors. Because of the severe weather conditions that can occur, teaming Accoya® wood with Teknos was a perfect match for the client’s requirements and the most effective solution. After being manufactured at Cheshire’s premises, AQUAPRIMER 2900 in TEAK, typically used for exterior windows, doors, shutters, conservatories or claddings, was used as a base stain.
AQUATOP 2600 in NE02 (a part of the Teknos Nature’s Eight range) was then applied as a top coat, leaving an orange, autumunal undertone; complimenting the original welsh stone and slate.

Aquaprimer base stains enhance the natural colour and grain of wood in preparation for application of Aquatop and Aquacoat translucent topcoats.
AQUATOP 2600
Aquatop joinery paint is suitable for softwoods, hardwoods, engineered and modified timbers and for application by air assisted airless spray, brush or roller.
For this project, Teknos was the best option to ensure the property looked contemporary and protected from uncontrollable weather conditions. Both products were easy to apply and there is a great selection of on-trend colours to choose from.
