Durability, stability and sustainability are at the core of Westbury Garden Rooms’ designs

As an ethos mirrored by Teknos, it’s no surprise then that Westbury work with Teknos paints to coat their joinery.

Manufacturing in Accoya® they coat windows, joinery and garden room products in ANTISTAIN AQUA 2901 isolating primer or AQUAPRIMER 2900 base stain and finish in AQUATOP 2600. The result is long-lasting, low-maintenance timber-based products which their customers love.  

Space with style

A stunning example of this winning combination is an orangery extension they completed on a character property in London. A great example of the bespoke nature of Westbury’s designs and more than just an extension, they created a real room suitable for year-round use. Amongst the inspired design was a wine store to make use of the otherwise wasted space by the boundary wall and glass instead of traditional door panels to give the owners’ dogs a view onto the garden.

Long-lasting protection

Integral to this beautiful space is the paint system which will give many years of protection to the joinery and allow Westbury customers to enjoy very low maintenance on their new buildings. The excellent penetration of Teknos coatings, their resistance to bacteria, mould and UV, together with end-grain protection of the original timber from TEKNOSEAL 4000, results in a highly durable product for Westbury.
